Our
Mission
The School of the Beartooths engages children and their
families in lifelong learning that harmonizes with their development
and addresses the whole person -- head, heart, and hands; body,
soul, and spirit. The School provides a rigorous curriculum
and encourages the development of self-knowledge and self-expression
in each child. Our students build a living connection -- intellectually,
artistically, and practically -- to our local and global communities
and to the natural world. The School promotes meaningful relationships,
social responsibility, and reverence and joy for life. We are
determined to create a climate that fosters and values diversity.
As such, the School of the Beartooths welcomes children of any
race, religion or ethnic origin and seeks to include families
of all financial abilities.
The
School of the Beartooths is an Initiative member of the Waldorf
Early Childhood Association of North America.
